Getting to meet Donna and her family was like meeting up with old friends. We just barely missed the rain, but got to enjoy the glow of the overcast skies that provided a perfect soft light for our photo shoot! It was the great way to end a beautiful Mothers Day weekend.
The poor S family had to reschedule portraits 3 times due to rain! We had our fingers (and toes) crossed when we found out this weekend had a 60% chance of rain in the forecast - but we were delighted when 5:30 came and not a drop could be found! The S family is fun and easy to take great photos of-- and their smiles are so very, very contagious!!
Rain almost ruined the M family portrait session-- but luckily, the sun came out and we were able to work around the puddles! The M family boys were so polite, offering to carry my props and equipment all over the place! The girls were so giggly-- the smiles came easy!
Taking the P's family photos was like magic-- the wind suddenly calmed, the ground dried after the rain the previous night, we found a waterfall, and the evening sun worked perfectly illuminating all of the green around us! We could not have asked for a more perfect evening. I was so in love with all of the red poppy patches we stumbled upon, they made for some lovely photos!!Heaven!
Beautiful Kaylee was so much fun to work with! The camera loved her cute face and freckles. She is gorgeous both inside and out--!! Taking her senior photos brought back a lot of memories of my senior photos - I'm starting to feel a little old!
